Subaru BRZ STI Concept

Today we speak of the Subaru BRZ STI Concept, but the image was leaked on the internet. As the Subaru lost the surprise, then immediately released the first official images.

Although it is a concept, the production version will not change much over the photo model. Like the FT-86, it will pull back, but the engine should be a 2.0 boxer with “mere” 300 hp – 100 hp more than its “cousin” – mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.



In its design, both the car, Subaru and Toyota have the same look, changing just a few aesthetic details, such as bumpers and taillights, to fit the design of each automaker. In the case of Subaru BRZ STI Concept, the front bumper is a grille reminiscent of the mouth and the headlights are with black mask. In the rear, the model carries four exhaust outlets (two on each side), red lanterns are completely translucent and have straight lines.



In addition, the fenders are highlighted, a detail that ends up leaving the vehicle with size more “muscular”. Completing the set, the car has a spoiler of proportion a bit exaggerated, as is usual in sports versions of the Japanese brand cars, such as the Impreza WRX STI.

The Subaru BRZ STI Concept will be unveiled at Los Angeles in the next 16 days and, alongside his brother FT-86, promises to be one of the great stars of the show.
